John R Perrotta | Project Manager - Investor & Developer - ConsultantJohn’s project management experience includes the building and development of the three Due Process farms as well as two PGA Championship Golf courses in New Jersey, the Shore Oaks Golf Club and The Due Process Stables club.

John was an investor/developer in the former and Project Manager on the latter, working with PGA Hall of Fame Pro Johnny Miller and internationally renowned course architect Gene Bates on both. His responsibilities included dealing with legal and permitting issues, environmental compliance, selection and direction of contractors, designers, architects and vendors.

In 2002, John became the first professional horseman to be employed by Magna Entertainment Corporation at the corporate level when hired as the Vice President of Operations for North America.

John’s responsibilities included overseeing the management and operation of the 14 Thoroughbred and Standardbred tracks then owned by MEC, including Santa Anita, Gulfstream, Pimlico, Laurel, Lone Star, Remington, Thistledowns, Portland Meadows and others.

Over the last decade John has done consulting work for: Monmouth Park, Kentucky Downs, Frank Stronach, The Jockey Club, Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm, KY, and numerous other individuals.

In 2004, John created the Thoroughbred Racing Radio Network, acting as President and Executive Producer, providing At the Races with Steve Byk, 45 hours of weekly broadcasting for SIRIUS/XM Satellite radio and the Internet and at: www.ThoroughbredRacingRadioNetwork.com in the format of a daily talk and information show including live and replay race calls as well as handicapping and interviews with trainers, jockeys and industry personalities.

In November 2008, John completed the Stewards Certification Program for Thoroughbred and Standardbred Officials at the University of Louisville, KY and is listed on the Racing Officials Accreditation Program (ROAP) site as a Certified Racing Official.
